DEOMASTER-DCX
● DEOMASTER-DCX ?
- Among plants distributed all over the mountains and fields, this product is produced by extracting and blending about 180 organic compounds from vacuum dry distillation of 42 species of plants(pine tree, persimmons tree, wormwood, tea plant, lemon tree, chinese pepper tree, aloe, etc.) that have been cultivated under certain temperature, humidity and soil, and contain sugars and alcohols.
This is a deodorant developed for removing all sorts of bad scent by the action of forest bathing. Such efficacy cannot be obtained from other deodorants. Especially, it has been proven that this product is not harmful to human body and has a strong sterilizing effect, especially favus.
▶ Forest Bathing
The effect of 'forest bathing' having been widely favored is exerted by 'Phytoncide' called as 'the spirit of forest', which is discovered by Dr. Tokin of Leningrad University of Russia.
When we enter a forest, we feel fresh air of forest owing to this Phytoncide. Dr. Tokin said that Phytoncide is a volatile substance which kills microorganisms such as staphylococcus, streptococcus, diphtheria, etc. in the surrounding environment. From the past, the forest was regarded as the best sanatorium. The unique treatment of tuberculosis which had killed many people until the beginning of 20th Century was to recuperate within the forest.
▶ Phytoncide
Phytoncide is a generic name of antibiotic substance produced together with oxygen when plants photosynthesize. In this substance, phenol compounds, alkaloids, glycosides as well as terpene are included. Antibiotic property of Phytoncide is not strong as antibiotics which kills bacteria quickly, but is a bacteria inhibition matter, a kind of preventive formulation.
Therefore, we can have the effect to skin diseases, asthma, tuberculosis, etc. when we enjoy the forest bathing for a long time. In addition, the scent of plants includes deodoring action.
From the past, in Japan, Phytoncide has been used to traditional pastries, foods, etc. by the old and wise housekeepers. Deodorant "DEOMASTER-DCX" is extracted from natural plants. This product is a deodorant which neutralizes and removes bad scent by the effect of forest bathing.
● Usage
- Determine the amount with optimal deodoring properties by adding 1.0~5.0% of this product. But, amount and deordoring properties may be changed depending on the scent type Store this product at cool and dark place. Once this product is opened, use it as soon as possible. (refrigeration storage)

2) Intoxication Symptom
- Intoxication symptom or death was not found in both of male and female mice after the treatment. Feedstuff was supplied to test mice 3 hours after the treatment but all mice started intake.
3) Autopsy Findings
- After the termination of the test, all mice were slaughtered to perform autopsy with naked eyes, but there was no abnormality in important organs in both of male and female mice.
4) Considerations
- According to the Acute Toxicity Test Method in OECD Guideline (April 11, 1986), maximum dosage of the test product to the mouse is set to 2,000 mg/kg.
In this test, 5.8, 6.9, 8.3 and 10% (w/v) solutions are prepared to prescribe 20 ml/kg of the solution to mice. Upper limit of the test product is set to 2,000 mg/kg. Test ratio was 1.2 and the test was performed in 4 levels to both of male and female mice.
From the result, noticeable intoxication symptom was not found in any dosage. There was no lethal case. In addition, changes in the weight of mice during the test period were studied, but both of male and female mice did not represent particular trend in the relation with dosage of test product and there was no significant difference in the growth and development.
From the above results, we found that oral LD50 of the test product was over 2,000 mg/kg
