Conductive coating agent

- Starcon is a conductive coating agent for the coating of film or sheet acryl resin plates,  poly carbonate (PC), PET, PS, ABS and the likes. When this product is used for semi-conductors, the electronic industries or used for the first sealer, (In this case it drops the surface resistant in the antistatic PE pressure sensitive adhesive for the protective film.)

Product Name: STARCON

- Using conductive materials as we have in our product, such as ITO (Indium Tin Oxide), CNT (Carbon Nano Tube), Poly aniline, Polypyrrol, Polythiopene, etc…; this provides conductivity no matter what temperature and/or humidity.  It doesn’t affect the surfaces’ physical characteristics from the migration of the additive.
Other conductive coating agents on the market do not match up to our product due to some of the following mixture incompatibilities. For example mixing an antistatic coating agent with any of the following items: acryl emulsion , water base urethane, water base polyester, polyvinyl acetate, etc... will depend on the resin characteristics.  Normally the storage stability is not sufficient because it converts to a gel type agent. In turn the surface tension will be degraded and controlling drying speed will be difficult, since the alcohol group solvents will lack compatibility.  With other agents the surface resistance will change depending on the season (temperature and humidity variation).

▶ Physical property

▶ Characteristics

1) During gravure printing, roll coating and/or spraying are available with it’s excellent disperse ability due to low surface tension.
2) Provides a strong adhesive on materials of acryl, polycarbonate (PC), PET, PS, ABS. etc...
3) Superior transparency of light after material coating.
4) Provides permanent antistatic effect of (105~108Ω/sq.)
5) Depending on the application field and production process, the surface resistant and drying speed are controllable.

▶ Instruction of use

- Use and amounts will depends on the operation method, type of equipment (condition), coating thickness, and various surface resistance.  Select the appropriate method, gravure printing, roll coating or spraying method; then apply to the film or sheet material and dry at 100℃ or lower air temperature.
