Antistatic Agent for Polyurethane



- Antistatic agents are compounds used for treatment of materials or their surfaces in order to reduce or eliminate buildup of static electricity generally caused by the triboelectric effect.


Product Name: UREAS-390

- Polyurethane is a highly polymerized agent which is produced from reaction between a isocyanate and polyol.  Isocyanate has a linkages of -N=C=O and polyol has a linkage of –OH. The strong point of Polyurethane are on a variable usage depending on the final product such as furniture, refrigerator, carpet, wheels, automobile seats, chair, varnish, computer mouse pads, glue, houses, sculptures, decorations, watercraft, construction sealants and so on.  Also polyurethane is used in shoes manufacturing such as in midsole, outsole, coating for leather or synthetic leather, air bag, frame and so on.

- UREAS-390 has a good satisfactory result while being a non foaming type and easy to mix. UREAS-390 is a prominent antistatic agent for polyurethane, UREAS-390 is usable in Midsole, Outsole, cushions met, print roller for protecting articulation during long working hours.


 Characteristics

1) UREAS-390 has prominent antistatic effect (107~108Ω), easy blending with polyol.
2) UREAS-390 does not affect to the over foam or foam cell from the antistatic.
3) Adhesive between Midsole and outsole due to non surfactant compound and does not affect the adhesive between cushions and TPU film adhesion.

 Instruction of use
- First mix with UREAS-390 and polyol according to surface resistant requirement. Causing to react with isocyanate. Then press or injection molding as necessary

 Remarks
When used with adhesives, just add UREAS-390 to the final product as needed.
