For Antistatic Coating Agent
- Antistatic agents are compounds used for treatment of materials or their surfaces in order to reduce or eliminate buildup of static electricity generally caused by the triboelectric effect.
- There are two antistatic agent depending on the material either inert addition agent and coating. Inert agent use elastomer for items such as Rubber, TPR, TPU, also for item such as PU non foaming, foam, thermoplasticitic resin (PE, PP, PVC) but if you add our antistatic agent into the arcyl, polycarbonate (PC), PET, PS, ABS resin. To receive the required antistatic function it needs to be uniformly rolled coating or sprayed into the film or sheet due to high surface resistant and decline of physical property and light transparency. Generally use for an electric conductive (below 106Ω/sq.) coating agent which is an added binder. The binder is such as ITO (Indium Tin Oxide), CNT (Carbon Nano Tube), Poly aniline, and Polythiopene, but this has low light transparency. These kind of conductive polymer is expensive compared with the effective ingredient contents even in small quantities due to the electric conductive substance being blueish or black color.
ASC-315 is an antistatic coating agent for film or sheet, semi-conduct, electric material, the wall surface for pharmaceutical controlled areas, coating layer in the industrial precision machine of acryl, polycarbonate (PC), PET, PS, ABS.
▶ Characteristic
1) Macro roll coating is available due to low surface resistant and superior spreading
2) Provides a strong adhesive in material such as acryl, polycarbonate (PC), PET, PS, ABS
3) Superior clarity, glossy and light transparency after the coating layer has dried on the required material
4) Show permanent antistatic effect(109~1010Ω/sq. RH30% standard)
5) Dried coating layer does not dissolve in alcoholic solvent's
6) Increases the roll coating production capacity due to it’s fast dry speed
▶ Instruction of use
- Apply uniformly in roll coating or spraying on the film or sheet material in accordance with your requirement for coating layer thickness for your antistatic function.
