CSM (Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene)
• Description
- The Chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber have a saturated backbone and pendant groups that ar suitable for various approaches to vulcanization. As a result of this configuration, vulcanizates o CSM are extremely resistant to attack by ozone, oxygen and weather. In addition, properly prepare vulcanizates of CSM are outstanding in resistant to deterioration by heat, oils and many chemical and fluids.
• Properties
- Superb ozone and weather resistance, even in non-black products
- Heat resistance to 145 °C - Resistance to wide range of aggressive chemicals
- Low flammability characteristics (associated with chlorinated polymers)
- Excellent resistance to abrasion and mechanical abuse
