• Magnesium sulfate, also known as sulfur bitter, bitter salt, epsomite, Epsom salt, industrial magnesium sulfate generally refers to the magnesium sulfate heptahydrate. It is white and comes in small oblique shape or oblique columnar crystal, odourless, bitter in taste and has the relative density of 1.68 g/cm3. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and in the air (dry) for easy weathering powder. It is a kind of magnesium compound.
