Compounds such as ferrous iodide (Fel2) and tin iodide (Sni2) are added to high/medium pressure UV metal lamp so that infrared ray of continuous spectrum is radiated at wavelength between 300nm and 430nm.
The lamp's core wavelength is 365nm, and compared to other UV lamps, it has a large amount of UV, so it is effective in reinforcing thick coating and colored coating.
